so i'm back from another trip to another random city in the U.S. :D ohio really exceeded my expectations! not that they were low. i hung around columbus on the OSU campus most of the time, where there are a bajillion places to eat, a bajillion bars, a bajillion people.. i got to see the peter zimmermann exhibition at the columbus museum of art which was DELICIOUS, rich in color and curves and motion and shiny plastic which i am hopelessly attracted to.. (MMMM shiny!) i really wanted to lick the floor of the installation.. (the snozberries taste like snozberries!!) there was also a murray jones gallery, a huuuuge collection of his etchings

the friedlander exhibit was AMAZING! i especially loved his photos of john coltrane. minneapolis/st. paul are fantastic cities. i didn't want to leave! for once, i did NOT take any photos. it was nice in a way. it's good to be home, but i'm again dealing with the same old problems and anxieties. and after being let loose in a (somewhat) big city, i'm feeling quite antsy.. so change is coming! yes it is.

i just thought i'd write another journal to replace that nasty one i had up. ooooops. =p i'm processing 3 rolls of 120 from the holga tomorrow, so i'll have lots of nice lomo stuff to share. other than that my life is boring. OH. i'm going to minnesota at the beginning of july for.. A FAMILY REUNION. (gag.) i really hate family reunions. they're so boring and everyone is OLD and crabby and they smell like soup.. so i always end up alone at these things because i don't really fit in with my family. never have. i'm going to try to take off and go to minneapolis. are there any sights worth seeing/photographing? i know i want to stop by soov
