ohio really exceeded my expectations! not that they were low.
i hung around columbus on the OSU campus most of the time, where there are a bajillion places to eat, a bajillion bars, a bajillion people..
i got to see the peter zimmermann exhibition at the columbus museum of art which was DELICIOUS, rich in color and curves and motion and shiny plastic which i am hopelessly attracted to.. (MMMM shiny!) i really wanted to lick the floor of the installation.. (the snozberries taste like snozberries!!)
there was also a murray jones gallery, a huuuuge collection of his etchings and ink drawings and such, along with a few of his larger more well-known works. i enjoy his drawings the most. his mind is both beautiful and macabre.
i also spent a day at the wexner center for the andy warhol exhibiton, which was really neat!
there were so many things that i loved about it, but the most inspiring thing was 'silver clouds.'
they make you feel weightless!
plus they're shiny.. and i like that. <3
the setup of the exhibition was really neat in itself. i <3 triangles.
anyway.. i gots lots of pictures to put up.
so yay..
anybody have any good new year's resolutions i can borrow?
